Visit of the Hong Kong Maritime and Port Board (HKMPB) to Hamburg

Professor Anthony Cheung Bing-leung, the Secretary for Transport and Housing and Chairman of the Hong Kong Maritime and Port Board (HKMPB), lead a delegation comprised of a number of leading representatives from various sectors of the Hong Kong maritime cluster, including ship-owners, maritime lawyers/arbitrators, marine insurers and ship management experts to promote Hong Kong as an international maritime centre.

The delegation attended a seminar co-organized by the HKMPB and the HKTDC. Title: “Supporting World Shipping — Maritime Services in Hong Kong”, meet with the Senator for Economy, Transport and Innovation of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, Mr Frank Horch.

We organized a visit of Vessel Traffic Control Center (Nautische Zentrale). At the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce the delegation received a presentation about the organization vocational training in Germany regarding.
